Programme Structure
The Preparatory Year of Romanian Language is structured as a one-year, 60-ECTS programme with a coherent progression from general language foundations to specialised academic language. The curriculum is formally approved at faculty level and aligned with national regulations governing the Romanian preparatory year for foreign citizens.
Semester 1 – Foundations
Introduction to the study of Romanian language (basic structures, alphabet, pronunciation).
Practical courses focused on phonetics, vocabulary and core grammatical structures.

Semester 2 – Academic and Specialized Language
