Brief History

Transilvania University of Brasov was founded in 1971 but its roots can be traced back to 1948 when the Institute of Silviculture was established. The Institute of Mechanics opened in 1949 and joined with the Institute of Silviculture four years later to form the Polytechnic Institute of Brașov. In 1960, the Pedagogic Institute (Mathematics, Physics-Chemistry, Biology) came into being in Brașov, followed by the Department of Music in 1969.

In 1971, the Polytechnic Institute and the Pedagogic Institute merged to create the University of Brașov. The institution was renamed Transilvania University of Brasov in 1991, reflecting its regional identity and commitment to preserving Transylvanian cultural heritage while embracing international cooperation. Recent decades have seen major infrastructure development, including the completion of Romania’s largest university-built research institute in 2013 and participation in the European University Alliance UNITA since 2023.

Testimonials

Mehrshad Karimi

Management major - Academy of Economic Studies

I’ve always been the type who thinks I can handle everything myself, but immigration is a different story. I wasted months trying to do things on my own before I finally reached out to Stinwo. I honestly wish I had gone to them from the start. Everything moved faster, smoother, and way more professionally after that.

Arvin Soleimani

Faculty of Medicine - Carol Davila University

The hardest part for me was not knowing where to begin. There’s so much information online, but none of it feels reliable. When I got in touch with Stinwo, everything suddenly made sense. It felt like they handed me a roadmap—I just had to follow it step by step. That feeling of clarity and confidence is something I couldn’t find anywhere else.

Fahimeh Karimi

Faculty Psychology - Ovidius University

If I had to sum it up in one sentence, it’s this: Stinwo is exactly the place you can trust. I had no idea how the admission process worked—I just knew I wanted to study in Romania. The Stinwo team handled everything for me, down to the smallest details. From writing emails to the university to booking my visa appointment and even finding a dorm, I was never alone in the process.

Amir Isazadeh

Computer Science Department - American Romanian University

I’m the kind of person who asks a lot of questions and pays attention to every detail. Stinwo was the only place that never got annoyed, always took the time to explain things, and truly listened. I had asked around about applying without a language certificate, and only Stinwo gave me a real, practical solution. They truly stand out.

Mohammad Rezaie

Faculty of Medicine - Gregor T. Popa University

Mr. Rahmani’s support during the transfer process to Romania was truly reassuring for us.
One of the most important aspects of immigration is having a reliable agency that can effectively handle and resolve the challenges applicants may face.
Among these challenges, securing suitable accommodation—whether in dormitories or private housing—is a major concern.
This is a responsibility that immigration agencies should take seriously.

Mehdi Mirahmadi

Preparatory year for Romanian language - Alexander Ioan Koza University

I’ve been familiar with this company for almost two years now.
They’ve put in their full effort, and I truly appreciate that. They handled everything quickly and efficiently, and managed to get the approvals we needed in the shortest possible time. During this time, we’ve gone through many ups and downs. There were quite a few challenges along the way, but thanks to Mr. Rahmani, he turned all those challenges into positive and memorable experiences.

Zeynab Jamshidi

Faculty of Dentistry - Victor Babes University

I started my immigration process through Stinwo Company, specifically with Mr. Rahmani’s team.
Starting the immigration journey is very difficult, especially when you have no prior experience. There are so many fears and uncertainties. But thankfully, Mr. Rahmani’s team was by my side every step of the way. They were in constant communication with me and informed me immediately about even the smallest changes in the plan.

Ghazaleh Mostaan

Faculty of Dentistry - Gregor T. Popa University

Finding a suitable house in a new country that is not familiar with any of its laws and costs is very challenging. Especially at the beginning of the migration, you want to save more and you are under a lot of stress. Stinwo took the hassle out of me and found me a house near the university that I don’t want to pay a lot for transportation.

Mojtaba Nikoukaran

Faculty of Dentistry - Ovidius University

You can also check the university websites, you will see that a language certificate is required and it is not possible to get admission without it. My language certificate was not ready, so I thought that if I wanted to take the exam, I would definitely miss this year’s admissions, but Stinwo’s team and Mr. Rahmani solved this problem with the correspondence they had with the university.

Tania Mahmoudi

Faculty of Medicine - Gregor T. Popa University

On the day of university registration, Mr. Rahmani himself came to the university with me, helped me to fill the forms and not to worry and stress about registration. Also, the Stinwo team kept me informed of every new update, and from the first day I had no worries about getting accepted, even though I was the only Iranian student at Gregor T. Popa University.

Mohammad Sharifi

Preparatory year for Romanian language - Ovidius University

I was very stressed in this process and I was constantly in contact with Mr. Rahmani. Even when they were in the meeting and couldn’t answer, I talked to their team and they gave me a sense of confidence. Although I submitted my documents late, thank God I was able to get accepted this year.

Fatemeh Mirahmadi

Preparatory year for Romanian language - Alexander Ioan Koza University

When they wanted to tell me about the visa issuance, they stressed me that when did you go to the embassy, and I was afraid that my visa would be rejected and I wanted to cry, but when they said that my visa was issued, I seriously started crying and they didn’t know if it was tears of joy or sadness. I think if it wasn’t for Stinwo, I would have missed the deadline this year like last year.

AmirArsalan Ranjbar

Faculty of Medicine - Gregor T. Popa University

I met your collection through my friends. Thanks to the good institution of Stinwo, I had no challenges in the immigration process and everything went well. I took the IELTS at the end of April and then I was able to receive the acceptance in almost 10 days. 3 months later, the visa answer came. During my experience with your collection, I did not have any worries.
