The Preparatory year at Transilvania University of Brașov is a one-year (60 ECTS) university programme in Romanian as a foreign language, organised by the Faculty of Letters. It is designed for international students who intend to continue Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD studies in Romanian-taught programmes such as Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Economics or Humanities.
The curriculum combines intensive language practice with courses in Romanian culture and civilisation, helping students reach at least B1 level, the minimum required by Romanian legislation for access to Romanian-taught higher education.
